Giving Tuesday Matching Grant Opportunity – Give Orthodox teens a life-changing opportunity to put their faith to work!
image

This Giving Tuesday, help Orthodox teens put their faith to work and bring the Liturgy beyond the four walls of the Church by supporting the Orthodox Youth Mission Team! OYMT is a pan-Orthodox Christian ministry of high school-aged youth and adult leaders, based in the Northeast with satellite teams across the country. Each summer, we embark on a short-term mission trip after training and serving locally year-round. We live in Orthodox community, allowing our teens to build connections with other Orthodox youth across state and jurisdictional lines while serving those in need.

Your donation supports OYMT in the following ways:
  • Helps us help those in need by covering the costs of training, transportation, accommodations, and necessary items for the people we serve.
  • Ensures this mission opportunity is available to all Orthodox high school students, regardless of their family’s financial situation, by providing need-based scholarships.
  • Ignites a zeal for mission work in our youth and adult leaders, and through the Grace of the Holy Spirit, inspires us to better know, love and serve Christ—the beginning of lifelong vocations as future leaders of our Church.
Thanks to a generous sponsor, donations will be matched up to $10,000 through December 12th.

This Giving Tuesday, help keep our young people in the Church by igniting in them a desire to serve others alongside their Orthodox communities. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference for the youth who participate in our programming and the families we serve.

Your Generosity Is Much Appreciated

"He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver." - 2 Corinthians 9:6-7
